One of the areas I want to improve this year is networking with other affiliates. Being in Australia makes it a little tricky though, as the affiliate scene here is years behind the US, there are hardly any networks – and no real CPA networks, – and there is no affiliate event even a 10th of the scale of Affiliate Summit. Just scrawl through the list of the companies attending Affiliate Summit West this month to get an idea of the scale of the thing. Most importantly, its common knowledge that affiliates+alcohol(-strippers)=$$$, so its about time this formula to your success was in effect down under.

So after yet another ‘hey, lets meet up’ discussion on WickedFire that was probably going to go nowhere in the real world I decided to start a Meetup202 group for all the Sydney guys and any other Australian affiliates. About bloody time – even New Zealand has had one for ages.

So if you’re a Sydney affiliate, jump in and join the group here: Meetup202-Sydney

It’ll be added to the Meetup202 page shortly. If you have no idea what Meetup202 is, have a read here.

Just don’t tell your DP friends about it.
