The Direct Agents affiliate network recently ran a contest for affiliates marketing the Bidz.com Short From offer. In order to qualify for the top 3 positions affiliates had to get 4500, 2000 and 1000 leads respectively over the 6 weeks of the contest.
I managed to just get through the gate for 3rd place with 1028 leads. I have no idea who got first place, but I believe the second place winner was a network, so I believe some bragging rights are well deserved.
Direct Agents are currently running another Bidz.com contest and its not too late for you to join in. The winner of the ‘New York, NY’ Contest will win a luxury trip to New York to go to Affiliate Summit East, which includes your return flight to New York, 3 nights stay at the Hilton and a Platinum pass to the summit. Second prize is a Gold Pass and a dinner for a two at a restaurant of your choice and 3rd place is a Gold Pass. There are also a couple of ‘honourable mention’ prizes for which you only need to get 200 leads. The contest is running til the 30th of June, so plenty of time to smash this one up!
